RIA News Focus.com is an experimental website developed to explore the Registered Investment Advisor news and social space. RNF developed a moderate level of success in attracting readers but didn't attract the social and voting aspect that the was of interest. One learning was that RIAs don't have a vested interest in participating in social networks but are interested in news aggregation services.

This website is employs a CMS framework called Pligg which I heavily modified in design and database structure. Some of the default PHP programming was adjusted to suit the requirement of the project. All template design, database administration, website analytics and framework updates were handled by me.
